The King and the Clown (왕의 남자)

A 2005 Korean historical drama directed by Lee Joon-ik. Two street clowns are arrested for satirizing the king and dragged to the palace, where they must make the volatile King Yeonsangun laugh or face execution. The film became a cultural phenomenon with 12 million admissions.
