Nanjung Ilgi (War Diary of Admiral Yi)

A personal war diary kept by Admiral Yi Sun-sin during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Written across seven years while commanding naval campaigns against Japanese invaders, it records battles, weather, troop conditions, and personal reflections. It is one of the most important primary historical documents in Korean history and a designated UNESCO Memory of the World.
