K-pop Artists & the New Group Node
We've introduced a brand-new node type: Group. This allows us to represent music groups, companies, organizations, and other collective entities — and link individual members to them.
The first three groups on Sillok:
BTS (Debut: 2013) RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook
BLACKPINK (Debut: 2016) Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa
NewJeans (Debut: 2022) Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein
All 16 members are now registered as individual figures with Member links to their respective groups.
What's Coming Next
This is just the beginning. Sillok will continue to grow with:
- More historical figures across every era — from ancient Gojoseon to the modern Republic
- Cultural heritage nodes — artifacts, documents, and UNESCO World Heritage sites connected to their creators
- Events & milestones — the battles, treaties, and movements that defined Korean history
- More Group nodes — corporations, royal dynasties, scholarly schools, and independence organizations
- Deeper relationship graphs — discover how figures, groups, and heritage are all interconnected
We're building the most comprehensive, interconnected archive of Korean history and culture. Stay tuned, and thank you for being part of the journey.
